Some of the best troops to store in you clan castle are wizards, dragons, hog riders, and archers. Yes, the story seems like something dreamed up by a nine-year old in the 1980's, but there's potential for a schlocky good time in the silly premise, provided the creators don't take it too seriously. If you can, try to spend resources as you acquire them unless you are saving for something expensive.
